On Sundays at 9am Pastor Dennis leads an all-ages Bible study called "One Room". Bring your Bible and stop by the fellowship hall any Sunday before worship.
Epworth offers short-term Bible studies that engage folks in meaningful discussions on our day-to-day spiritual lives, the teachings of Jesus and the Word of God . Recent studies include:
We invite you to check out our 2025 Lenten Study called "The Case for Easter" beginning March 6. We'll meet on Thursdays at 6:15pm in the fellowship hall.
The Genesis Prayer group meets on Tuesdays at 10am to lift up those on our prayer lists, the needs of our congregation, families, community, country and world. We share the richness of God's blessings upon us. All are invited to drop by this informal gathering any time. We meet in the Upper Room (adjacent to sanctuary).
Our United Women of Faith are actively involved in local and global missions especially for women, children and youth. Epworth's UWIF supports a wide-range of local ministries like Meals-on-Wheels, Cabarrus Bible Teaching Association and the Cabarrus Women's Center. We host an annual Girls Night Out (community dinner, fellowship and stand-up comedy), a quilt show in the Fall and stay active with outreach projects and missions year round. UWIF typically meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6pm.
Men of Epworth meet on Wednesday mornings at 9am to swap stories and solve world problems over doughnuts and coffee. UMM are a huge support to the ministries of Epworth and our community.
The first Saturday of each month we choose a local restaurant and share in a meal and fellowship. From time to time we'll gather for an outing like a Kannapolis Cannonballers game. Epworth's First Saturday Fellowship is for everyone! Friends are always welcomed!
On the Move with the Minister means Pastor Dennis is driving the bus and we're going on a field trip! We've traveled to Asheville to the Western NC Farmer's Market, been to the NC Symphony and are always looking for other venues or special events to check out.
